My Coaching Approach

My clients often say that I am warm, empathic and stretching in my approach. I am known for helping people to become more influential and confident in their management or leadership roles, especially when going through change or stress. I specialise in supporting clients to become more resilient and effective as leaders/managers and I career coach.


Working with Individuals

Clients often find I can help them explore what’s outside of their awareness. With renewed insight and support, people go on to make changes and solve their own problems. I support you to clarify where you are and where you want to get to and then how you move forwards towards your goal.


Working with Groups/Teams

As a facilitator, I often help a team clarify where they are and what they want. We might then explore the biggest barriers and enablers to making the transition from one to the other. This then facilitates a strategic direction going forwards and a new way of working. I also teach management and leadership skills. All interventions are focused on achieving greater satisfaction but also impacting business performance.


My Business Experience

I have a background in Psychology and my career in HR spanned over 17 years, during which time I held Senior Management positions in Learning & Development mainly in Manufacturing and Retail. All involved bringing about significant change to individuals, groups and organisations. I have been running my own business since 2005 and work in private and public sectors including the 3rd sector with a wide variety of clients.

For larger pieces of client work either coaching or facilitation, I work with a global coaching business called Coachmatch as a partner coach.
